Don’t worry! The studio specifically stated that the game utilizes new hardware. The only new hardware that Sony has released since the last Astrobot game is the psvr 2, there’s no way this isn’t a massively successful hybrid title that paves the way for the future of the platform.

Jun 3, 2024 · I'm sad how this game is literally the only game on the whole console where you can instantly be back in the game from the PS5 menu by going to Resume Activity. Zero useless splashscreens. Just straight back into the gameplay in 2-3 seconds.

Sep 6, 2024 · I turned my ps5 off this morning and move it downstairs to play without quitting the game. Didn't lose any progress. Guess I can quit to menu to make sure and try beating a quick level to get more coins to test it. Edit: Found a different bug.

And so far, the PS5 has been better than the PS4 (much higher quality games) but we still don't have anywhere near as much as I'd like to have. We saw Astro's Playroom, Sackboy's Big Adventure (underappreciated), Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, and now Astro Bot on the way. But man, they seriously could dive more into Jak and Sly here for real.
