Michael Porter Jr. scored the game-winning floater with 6.5 seconds left to help the Nuggets escape with the victory. The Mavericks had two more chances on the final possession of the game, but Kyrie Irving missed a 3-pointer and Daniel Gafford was unable to convert on a tip-in that would’ve sent the game to overtime.

Despite the loss, Kyrie Irving had a sensational performance. The 2016 NBA Champion finished with 43 points, five rebounds, five assists, one steal and one block while shooting 17/22 from the field and 6/8 from the three-point range in 35 minutes of playing time.
