The results surpassed Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for a loss of 3 cents per share. The lender posted revenue of $314.6 million in the period.

Restaurant Brands (QSR) came out with quarterly earnings of $0.93 per share, missing the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $0.94 per share. This compares to earnings of $0.90 per share a year ago. These figures are adjusted for non-recurring items.

The Vancouver, British Columbia-based company said it had a loss of 1 cent per share. The results exceeded Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for a loss of 3 cents per share.

Restaurant Brands International Inc. reported net income of US$357 million for its third quarter, down from US$364 million in the same quarter last year.
