The Miami Hurricanes remain undefeated, albeit with a closer victory this week than their first four, but even that and a couple losses by teams above them didn’t do them any favors in the Associated Press Top 25 poll.
Hurricanes fall in AP poll after wild win over Virginia Tech
The Hurricanes’ win against Virginia Tech came down to the last second — and then some — but they were not rewarded for it Sunday. Miami moved down one spot to No. 7 in this week’s AP poll following their first conference victory. The Hurricanes also earned the No. 8 spot in both the USA Today coaches poll and the FWAA-NFF Super 16.
