New Zealand has reclaimed the world record for the largest mass Haka, with thousands packing a major stadium on Sunday for a resounding performance of the traditional Māori routine.

The record was previously held by France, who broke it in 2014 with more than 4,000 attempting the haka after a rugby match.

More than 6,000 people took part in the event, surpassing the previous record set a decade ago in France. The haka is surely best known nowadays because of New Zealand's All Blacks performing it before rugby matches.
