Days after Helene made landfall in Florida’s Big Bend region as a Category 4 hurricane, more than 2 million customers remain without power. At least 66 deaths have been confirmed as a result of the storm, at least a third of whom were killed by falling trees.

The remnants of Hurricane Helene are expected to bring heavy rain and strong wind gusts throughout Tennessee as they continue moving through the state Friday. Check for any flood warnings, power outages near you.

Helene is strengthening as it moves toward the U.S. Gulf Coast. It is expected to become a hurricane today and will hit Florida's Big Bend on Thursday.
