Days before PS5 Pro preorders are set to go live, Sony has announced a new State of Play event. The presentation, which starts today at 6PM ET and will reportedly last 30 minutes, will feature “more than 20 upcoming PS5 and PS VR2 games from studios around the world.”

Sony revealed Ghost of Tsushima 2, Astro Bot DLC, Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered and more at its new State of Play.

September 2024’s State of Play is just a few hours away promising several updates on new and existing PS5 and PS VR2 games. It seems the people at PlayStation are just as excited as its fans, as a PS5 Store page may have revealed the event’s lineup early.

Sony has finally confirmed the long-rumored PlayStation State of Play for September 2024 alongside announcing a date and time for the event. Tune in this Tuesday, September 24, at 3 p.m. PT / 6 p.m. ET.

State of Play is the definition of bitter sweet. Playstation stans were all ready aware that Sony wasn't releasing any new first-party games this year, but the announcements of the ones to come just made things worse.
